Expiration Date

“People are never more insecure than when they become obsessed with their fears at the expense of their dreams.” – Norman Cousins

Do dreams expire? Is there a lifespan to your longings?

I believe so.

Everyday dreams die.

What is the expiration date of your dream? How long is too long? Are you willing to sacrifice your dream to the slave-master aptly named fear?

Your dream is waiting to become reality. Waiting for you to move, act, chase after it. Do something today to move closer to seeing your dream become a defining moment.

Buy a journal. Write your dream in it.

Subscribe to a blog. Follow an expert in the field of your dream on twitter.

Start a dream themed tribe. Help others fulfill their dream.

Become a student of the dream. Study.

Live the dream. Today.

    Ryan,

Great word and very timely for me as one of my “dreams” is now being lived out as I follow the Lord’s leading in telling a true story. In other areas, I realize I may be letting dreams expire–but your reminder will help me keep that from happening!! Thanks for the reminder.

    Blessings!
    Jim

I determined in my heart that I would do all that the Lord put in my heart to do this year. I didn’t care if it sounded crazy or if my motives were questioned. I detemined to love everyone regardless if they loved me back. I determined to live every dream God began in my spirit. I love living the dream; my dream; God’s dreams for me. I just had this talk with Dorian – used some of the very same words a day before I read your post. I’m comforted that you think like me! ha
